Great Gatsby theme is also known as the 1920s theme, which was a popular theme that was made even more well known by the 2013 movie “The Great Gatsby.” The Great Gatsby theme can be used to celebrate a loved one’s milestone birthday, chime in the New Year, or for no reason.
The 1920s was an era of discovery and freedom! In the Roaring Twenties, it was a period of economic prosperity where people lived then in a wild and lively way.
Ladies come into our store at 29 Electra Street and look through our great range of sexy Gatsby and flapper costumes. But don’t forget to check out our feather boas, charleston headbands and, fishnet tights, long gloves, wigs and leg garters in order to complete the look.
While for the men, we have the traditional black with white stripe Gangster Vests that you can pair with a long-sleeve shirt. This will make you feel like you are in a Gangster film.
To complete the costume add a bow tie, hat (trilby/fedora), braces/ suspenders, spats and a tommy gun.

Handout Bead Neckaces as a Party Favor: To make it especially flapper-esque, tie a knot at the bottom of the bead necklaces.
Buy Giant White and Confetti Balloons: As these balloons make a statement and are great for creating the opulent look of a Great Gatsby Themed Party.

Party Food, Drinks, & Music
For food, you can keep it simple. Think hors d’ourves and finger foods. To be honest, guests at a Great Gateby party will be mostly focused on the drinks available.
Speaking of drinks, you definitely need champagne. You can supplement with more wine if you want to keep it simple.
Otherwise you could branch out into maybe Bourbon cocktails. Like an Old Fashioned, Kentucky Mule, Manhattan, or Mint Julep. These all have a very 20s vibe.
