Garden Party designing

PROJECT: Chris’ 50th birthday bash being held in gardens at back of home.

We covered up the ugly bases of the light poles with balloon clusters, used two giant towers to welcome guests and next to the drink station, party poles next to the stage, and a stunning personalised arch photo backdrop. Unfortunately, I wasn’t there to take a pic later when the lights were on and the party was in full swing, but here is what we created that gave this garden party the “lets celebrate and have a blast theme”.

Balloon venue design

THE WAVES SAILS ROOM SETUP: This is the smaller function room at The Waves. It can be a task to work out what balloon decor you need for different venues, so I have decided to show you what products I suggest, use and what they are called for easy reference. No 1: Single helium table bouquet. No 2: Wooden entrance board, that comes with or without flowers or lights. No 3: Our deluxe golden arch with balloon garland. No 4: Giant flowers on stand.

We have a range of giant flowers for either on the deluxe golden arch or on stands. Rental prices range depending on number of flowers and are only suitable for inside venues. The four base pictured is $140 rental. 5 base is $160. 6 base $180. We deliver, setup, return, dismantle and dispose of unwanted balloons.

Saturday’s delivery of a plain box with 3 helium balloons for a gender reveal reminded me I hadn’t posted anything about these boxes for a while. These are great for any surprise occasion or if you want to DIY the box with text and photos for a special gift. Can be purchased plain with just balloons or I can personalise it with text. I always use to say to people, when I was a journo for the NewsMail and taking pics, that you only get one chance to capture special moments as that moment will never repeat itself the same again. So how cute is this pic that was taken of a sweet little girl celebrating her fourth birthday with a Barbie Balloon Pole. I added a birthday gift from myself of a goodie bag with a bubble wand, lollypop and a couple of sherbet sticks, but you could turn this pole into a present pole as long as the gift isn’t too heavy.

ITS TIME TO PARTY

AND MAKE SOME WONDERFUL MEMORIES SO, CHEERS TO IAN! Yes, it was time for Ian’s family and friends to join him to celebrate a wonderful milestone. It was my pleasure to be able to create balloon decor to suit this event. The spectacular acrylic entry sign with lights greeted guests. The 3m balloon ring with personalisation to be used for photos and check out the beer foil – yep “Cheers to Ian”. And to add to it a large 60th floor bouquet. This is great photo prop to have fun with. And if you are like me, I also think “What do I buy as a gift” well except a drop of the good stuff. A gift-stuffed balloon was added to the balloon package and Ian’s family filled it with his favorite treats and some fun gifts. The gift-balloon also included lights, so it stood out and it as easy for guests to work out where the gift table was. Let’s face it who wants to be worried about decorating it’s time to celebrate – we will take care of that for you. Jen
